Fabulous food, service and communication! Josh was top notch from the very beginning and flexible at our Youth Organisation event. He was very professional from answering calls, to setting up a Ts & Cs agreements via an online form and transparent on payments (deposit in advance, full payment 7 days prior), at a very fair per head price. Josh's team fed our 300 guests over two days with calmness and warmth. The hog roast meat was very high quality, with generous portions including stuffing, crackling and help yourself apple sauce, with a multitude of other sauces. Desserts - warm sticky toffee pudding, brownie and caramel shortbread (with Mackie's icecream) was divine! - this was agreed as an optional payment at the marquee. The marquee was set up with ease and with a smile. Very smart looking too! I will definitely be recommending Rural Roasts for the future. Well done you guys!

Catering for a wedding breakfast for 80 people, Rural Roasts put on an exceptionally good hog roast with ample, and very tasty, side dishes. There was nothing to fault it, and the feedback I got from our guests was 100% positive. There was more than enough for everyone. Many guests went up for seconds. What Josh, the owner, promised, we got. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Rural Roasts catered my mum’s 70th birthday party and we were very impressed! The set up was beautiful and the food plentiful and tasty. Some traditional buffet food like sausage rolls were included but the homemade high quality version. Oh my what an absolute fabulous Hog Roast Josh and Emma, who are a delightful young couple, created for my son's surprise 50th birthday. The food was delicious and attention to detail was brilliant. My guests were bowled over with the quality and presentation of the meal and we were even given the meat/salads that were left all wrapped and presented in trays. If you are considering a hog roast I can thoroughly recommend using Rural Roast I am sure you will be delighted as we were. They are by far the best we've experienced.

We booked rural roasts as our evening caterer for our wedding, we booked them extremely last minute as the one we booked cancelled us. Let me say this, rural roasts did everything and more! The food was top notch, incredibly tasty and boy did I hear so many compliments from our guests! From the beginning Josh was so helpful while we were discussing what we needed. He guided us in how much to order for our numbers (there were 6 buns leftover after everyone had firsts, seconds and thirds) and was incredibly accommodating in finding every single ingredient in every item so we could share lists with guests with allergies. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them quickly and without any bother. The hog was cooked on site and from the moment we arrived it smelt incredible! Throughout the night we had so much feedback saying how delicious it was. Thank you Josh and your team!

They were able to work to my budget and were so flexible when dates changed last minute. Rural Roasts catered for our anniversary party recently. Josh was very professional, helpful and nothing was too much trouble - no matter how many times I emailed him! We chose a BBQ package and a graze table. Emma put together an amazing graze table, we were hoping to have lots left over but sadly there was very little. Josh provided a BBQ that our guests are still talking about now. The quality of the food was exceptional. It's great to have locally sourced sustainable food, which tasted delicious! Josh was able to provide all the glasses, china and cutlery, along with 2 members of staff to serve drinks. This meant we were free to chat to our guests. Josh and his team have brilliantly catered our annual family tag rugby event for four years and we wouldn't choose any other. Nothing is too much trouble for him, and he's very easy to work with during the planning phase. Josh and his team came on a very hot day and served an excellent meal of hog roast with all the trimmings and delicious salads, which were enjoyed by all from two years old to eighty-nine. The left overs were neatly packed to refrigerate overnight and produce for a picnic the following day. First class food and first class service.

Rural Roasts catered for our summer party. We opted for a bbq and the food was first class, knowing that the burgers and sausages are supplied by Grooms Farm Shop we knew they would be quality, but the toppings for the burgers make them extra special. The vegetarian options were excellent too. Josh provided a faultless service, and we would recommend him without hesitation.

Josh and his wonderful team recently catered for my wedding at Newton Park Barn in Newton Blossomville. We wanted a relaxed vibe to our day, and went for a serve yourself style BBQ. The team were so friendly and kind and really on top of dietary requirements! Our guest vegans felt they were superbly looked after and directed to their food amongst the meat lovers meat fest! All of the food was absolutely delicious. The meat products were full of flavour and such good quality. The salad accompaniments were divine, we really felt like we had a complete meal, there wasn't anything else that we would have wanted. The desserts were stunning, decadent homemade cheesecakes and refreshing fruit pavlovas. We have had lots of guests compliment us on our choice of caterers, saying how good the food was and how lovely all of the staff were. Throughout the booking process Josh was super helpful in taking us through our different options and making sure everything fit in with the day we wanted, and it most certainly did. Simply - WOW. Firstly, the Hog Roast was amazing, as many of our guests commented that it was the best they had. Secondly from first communication to the actual event, everything was faultless. Josh and Kim were so helpful and polite, they made hosting an event so easy, even clearing away all the finished plates. And as host I have the pleasure of feasting on the leftovers that they carefully packaged into foil containers. Now trying to find a reason for using their services again. Would highly recommend.

People kept saying to me i cant stop eating the crackling and they didn't eat meat often either. Definitely recommend using them for any event.

I had a 21st birthday party and had Rural Roasts to do the food! It was absolutely delicious, we had a hog roast which was just perfect! The rolls, stuffing, sauce and pig was amazing and all we had were compliments from our guests!!!! Nothing was too much hassle for Emma and Josh, I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you soooo much!!!!! Would 10000% recommend!!! Xxx

Josh roasted lamb and turkey and it was delicious. Why have turkey just at Christmas? Loved the salads as well. Proper job.

My friend had hired out Rural Roasts for a working event on the farm, and the lamb was fantastic! It’s different to a usual hog roast and the extras were a much enjoyed addition. Would definitely recommend for any function

We had a hog roast for our event of over 80 people; the food was delicious, really generous portions and amazing home made desserts. All our guests were really impressed. I’d definitely recommend them and the staff were lovely.

We used Rural roasts for our party of about 100 people. The roasted pig was fantastic with moist meat and some great crackling! The presentation of the food was exemplary and the team were very helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend using these guys if you want professional, reliable service and a top class roast!

Attended a 60th Birthday party for which you catered. The food was amazing! With the range of salads & homemade Desserts it was a great choice of caterering for all, with a vegetarian quiche too. Endless options to please the masses - shall look into booking for a Big Birthday bash soon.
